Surely that isn't anywhere near as irritating as Huw Edwards reading the news, constantly glancing at his script - about four times in one item - as if the autocue has ommited part of the sentence all the bloody time.

I've also noticed he has a habit of coming out of every report with his hand touching his chin, as if he's been watching it avidly, and then moving his hand immediately down to the desk.

Does anyone else think it is unusual that Riz Lateef is down to present saturday evenings bulletin in the Radio Times?

On YouTube in can only find her presenting the news channel but no bulletins.

Yea, she did 2 (I think) late Saturday bulletins before Christmas.

She does the 8.00 bulletin, so isn't unknown on network.

He often presents programmes for BBC Wales (both for Wales and for network), and also presents and commentates for BBC Events.

James Landale introduced as 'Deputy Political Editor' this am on the news channel...this is relatively new, is it not? Makes sense though....no longer just chief political correspondant for the NC, and at last a replacement for Mark Mardell's former network role!
