It's Chris' final time on this shift, according to twitter. His last time hosting paper reviews then.

I think it's safe to assume the new schedule will be...
08:30-11:00 Simon McCoy & Carrie Gracie
11:00-14:00 Matthew Amroliwala & Jane Hill or Ben Brown & Joanna Gosling
14:00-17:00 Ben Brown & Joanna Gosling or Matthew Amroliwala & Jane Hill
17:00-18:00 Huw Edwards
18:30-21:00 Martine Croxall
21:00-01:00 Clive Myrie
08:30-11:00 Simon McCoy & Carrie Gracie
11:00-14:00 Matthew Amroliwala & Jane Hill or Ben Brown & Joanna Gosling
14:00-17:00 Ben Brown & Joanna Gosling or Matthew Amroliwala & Jane Hill
17:00-18:00 Huw Edwards
18:30-21:00 Martine Croxall
21:00-01:00 Clive Myrie
Wonder what will happen to the weekends? I think they'll stay the same for the most part. I imagine Maxine and Nick will stay in their regular slots, with Sophie Long or even Chris Eakin taking over the 4pm slot on a Saturday if the above schedule does indeed go ahead. Annita McVeigh will probably start to do the lates every weekend as opposed to alternate weekends, as well as Friday evenings solo and any weekday shifts she can pick up on.

I'd also like more consistency in the weekend bulletins on BBC One. The number of difference presenters across a number of weekends is woeful.
Also Huw's being sentimental about Chris' change in rota:

@nlygo @chriseakinnews I will miss our handover. Chris and I were there on Day 1 of the News Channel. Not many of us left now.

Chris' sign off: 'That is it for me for tonight' cheesy grin into the camera 'Now it's time for Hardtalk'.
I did realise he'd released a book? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Race-Too-Far-Chris-Eakin/dp/0091932599

If this wasn't Chris Eakin's choice (and it may well have been) then judging by the reaction he's had on Twitter they may have made a mistake shifting him. He certainly seems very popular on the paper review!
EDIT: Also Clive has tweeted he will be presenting 9 until midnight, so joining world an hour earlier?

The NC schedule has BBC News for midnight with Newsday at 1am, so Clive may have his wires crossed about finishing 30 mins earlier than he tweeted.

Huw?
So much for leaving only residual presenters + Huw at TVC, Carrie is back.
