Must have been early 2010 when he last presented. With this being the final week before the move, I expect we will be seeing a few random and unexpected faces popping up in different places, with a lot of the regular presenters taking part in final rehearsals.

Looking at the News Channel schedule for next Monday, it appears Clive Myrie has got the late night slot, presenting a new strand called 'The Papers' at 22:30 and 23:30.

Also it appears from this trailer promoting the move...

that Jane Hill, Matthew Amroliwala, Simon McCoy, Carrie Gracie and Clive Myrie will now be seen as the main presenters on the channel, given they're the only ones who appear in the clip.

As we know, Chris Eakin will be spending less time in the studio and more time on location. I wonder what will happen to Ben Brown, Joanna Gosling and Sophie Long? Relegated to relief/weekend presenters or going back to reporting would be my guess.

Thats a good decision, he just has no chemistry with any co-presenter.

Maybe Simon/Carrie shift will be prolonged till 1 and then Matthew/Jane till 5 followed by two single headed evening shifts after 6.

That sounds plausible. And I'm sure it was said somewhere on here recently that Martine Croxall MAY present the new 21:00 shift coming from the virtual studio. So maybe Ben Brown or Joanna Gosling could be in line to present 18:30-21:00 solo, with Sophie Long moving back to a relief presenter role, and with the schedule looking like this:

08:30-13:00 Simon & Carrie
13:30-17:00 Matthew & Jane
17:00-18:00 Huw
18:30-21:00 Ben/Joanna
21:00-22:00 Martine
22:30-01:00 Clive

The number of presenters I'm sure will be cut with DQF. Looking at the trail it might even be:

08:30-13:00 Simon McCoy & Carrie Gracie
13:30-17:00 Matthew Amroliwala & Jane Hill
17:00-18:00 Huw Edwards
18:30-00:30 Clive Myrie

Martine Croxall did however say she had a permanent fixed slot, but this could be weekends.

I just don't think the weekday news channel will have presenters doing that amount of hours! ( I know there are long weekend shifts ) the presenters in the video may have been the people doing the rehearsals at that time with all the others doing shifts on the news channel or busy.

Martine might be doing sth on Friday and weekend. Also, with their lack of consistency and full 5 day working week, we'll provably again have all of them doing all shifts. Will be interesting to see if they will be able to have some consiatency at least in first week. World managed it and it was one of their goals but they had much more consistency last few years anyway.

Does anyone know who will present the 2-5 and the 6.30-9 slots?
Is seems as if they are concentrating more on the other shifts rather than these ones!
And if the dfq cuts are happening across BBC news then why are they creating the 9pm slot with a different presenter Confused

Its all just our speculation, we have no idea abt new shifts and rotas except for Clive doing late nights cause of that epg info.

Agreed too much interpolation based on a 30 second clip going on here.

It looks like the relief presenters will be here for the dying days of N24 at TVC/ N6.

My prediction for the rota line-up would be this:
8.30-10.00 Carrie
10.00-12.00 Simon
12.00-13.00 Matthew
13.30-14.00 Matthew
14.00-15.00 Matthew
15.00-17.00 Jane
17.00-18.00 Huw
18.30-21.00 Martine
onwards: Clive
