No idea. Tim Wilcox is there now, so I would assume he is supposed to be on the 10.30-1 shift tonight, like he was last night.

I think that 2 males actually makes it look quite professional, could Joanna have been sent up there to anchor live say for breakfast tomorrow?

Or she is preparing to broadcast in N8 from 9.30 -10 whilst they get N6 ready/rehearse for the 10

Well it appears Tim has gone so he could be in N8 but what will they do for the 10 as the story is ongoing?

LOL, DVB. You saved me from having to pose the question as to who is the overnight lady tonight? Not being a regular viewer of News 24, I am not so familiar with her but guessed it was the same pugilistic lady who assaulted Jon Sopel a couple of weeks ago.

However, fighting tendencies aside, she was actually quite good at reading the straight news!! But it begs the questions - where are Martine Croxall, Deborah MacKenzie, Alastair Yates, Janat Jallil, Karin Gianonne, Juliet Dunlop, James Dagwell and even Doily and others..................???? Surely they ALL haven't nipped out on the easyJet to Alicante for Easter? The BBC Newsroom must be desolate.

I've been flicking on to BBC News during the past few days, when one certain presenter was on... Tim Willcox. It's starting to aggrevate me seeing him do everything at all hours.

Clive Myrie joins the BBC News Channel as a presenter

Clive Myrie, the BBC's Europe correspondent based in Brussels, is joining the BBC News Channel as a presenter.

In addition to presenting from the studio, Clive will also present some of the bigger stories on location. He will start his new role in July.

Clive said: "Over the last few years I've watched the News Channel go from strength to strength, so for me to now join its ranks as a presenter is fantastic.

"I know I'll be working with a great team on a network that's at the heart of BBC journalism, and the place more and more Britons turn to for breaking news. It's an exciting opportunity and I can't wait to get stuck in."

I wonder what shift he'll be doing... Good luck to him. He's proved to be a good reporter. I'll look forward to seeing a new face on the News Channel.

He'll be replacing Chris Lowe according to the Media Guardian
