Deborah did the overnight the previous night as well. Mike Embley didn't appear.
For those interested in such things and taking note, Wednesday was quite a day on the BBC World roster, as many of the regular presenters were (apparently) spending a day at BH for some integration stuff. Thus:
Lucy Hockings presented both GMT and The Hub. (first time she's done GMT).
Peter Dobbie filled-in for Zeinab Badawi on World News Today.
Kirsty Lang did the BBC News segments between Impact, Hub and WNT.
Naga Munchetty did the 5am today, which she normally doesn't on a Friday. "Tim" did Impact. He's been on World quite a bit this week, in fact.
Dobbie has presented every World News programme/slot in the last seven days.
And tomorrow on World at 12GMT, the presenter on duty will be.............me! Get ready folks.

And "Tim's" back with World News Today.
Wow! Witchell in N8!!! First I can ever recall.

My running commentary continues: and now on BBC World at the top of the hour, the World News is read by Susannah Streeter. First time I recall this as well.
And, I feel its rather unfair for that person in charge of typing the autocue to have added-in all those extra erroneous letters at the main intro. The presenter did her best and caught most of them but, for goodness sake, get a grip and stop playing such foolish pranks.
I can promise all BBC World News viewers that the next six weeks are going to provide us with some really odd and random rota patterns. We are bound to see many back to back shifts and loads of Willcox and other out-of-position players.

Sian Lloyd - haven't seen much from her in the past across BBC News, so quite a big gig for her to be on Breakfast.
I suspected Roger would be involved, given that he's a relief presenter on the programme and is obviously based in the North West too.
No surprises either that Susanna doesn't appear given that she's based in London and has children to look after over Christmas. Not much sign of Bill given that he lives in the North West. Does anyone know Charlie Stayt's travel arrangements, just for curiosity? Does he commute from London?
For rota geeks, this is certainly more exciting than last Christmas. Another appearance on the sofa for Steph - I think she was very good last time with Roger so I think with Jon she'll be fine again.

The names involved would confirm that it will all be from Salford.
Definitely - no way would they do it from London. Can you begin to imagine what the Daily Mail et al. would write?!
All from Salford, or will some be from the NC studio?

I suspect it would have been reworked for Salford - transport/trains over the Christmas could affect the choice of presenter if they're not in the North West. Obviously, given that most of the presenters live in the North West already, it's not as if the Breakfast audience are getting faces that they haven't seen before (aside from Sian Lloyd).
