I never liked Sophie to begin with, but through the last few years, I've really started to enjoy watching her presenting - an excellent journalist with a seriousness and maturity in her questioning and interviewing. I'd hope she'd get a permanent fixed shift eventually - she's like the Jane Hill of the future.

Does she not normally do Tuesday-Friday afternoons on the NC since Louise moved to Salford? Who was on this afternoon?

I think it might have been Joanna Gosling. They seem to swap shifts about every 4/5 weeks since Sophie took over the afternoon slot, for reasons that are unknown.

That article was in the Evening Standard as well tonight. They chose a better picture of Sophie Long though.
