Got to love Ben Brown! At 10 they crossed to one of the BBC's France reporters talking about what the French made of the London games.

The French weren't happy about the games and apparently in the French media they're claiming we cheated in some events. Ben Brown's comments were superb 'Isnt it just a case of sour grapes that we got the games, they didn't '... 'They were way down on the medal table, we came third''... 'I think we can take from this that the Germans like us'... The French don't... For now'. Or words to that effect.

Hehe.

Business presenter Ben Thompson did the the BBC One news summary at 10:57.

An Olympic hangover with the sports bulletins on the News Channel. Mandy Henry presented the first bulletin after Breakfast from Salford, then Karthi Gnanasegaram for the rest of the morning from Lund Point, then Mandy Henry returns from 1.30pm.

Thanks for that, had volume on mute this morning, so couldn't hear anything.

It would be great to see the likes of Ben Thompson and Juliette Foster as relief main presenters on the News channel.
