George presenting the News at Six from the olympic studio, anyone noticed the piece of paper used as a mouse mat, the sun in the background shines on to the desk and onto the camera showing the dirt!

When the News at Ten ended and the News Channel went back to N6, Nicholas Owen was sat on the opposite side to the desk. Wonder if there was a back up presenter sat in N6 - but if so, why wouldn't Nicholas do?

A nice surprise having Nicholas, he said something funny when he was going through the papers that made me laugh, wasn't really concentrating on it so I couldn't tell you exactly what it was, something to do with the banks and he said "that's a very naughty thing to do", great presenter!

Yes and a worthy cover presenter for Chris Eakin, who was out and about with the BBC's Olympic coverage today.
