Ha! Simon McCoy and Naga Munchetty on Breakfast from Salford today. Assume we are in for some comic frolics from M and M this morning. One crosses ones fingers and hopes so. This is the first time I have been able to watch Breakfast LIVE since 2005!
Fiona Bruce in Athens as well tonight. And she filed a report, which I don't think I've ever seen her do before. It is very unusual to get Fiona on a non-UK location.
Although not recent, I seem to remember Fiona filing reports for Breakfast News in the 1990s. Or maybe I've invented that!
She filed a report from Heathrow in 2006 in the aftermath of the liquid explosives Aircraft plot. She was supposed to go on holiday but her flight was severely delayed.
So she did a report on the new hand luggage restrictions to kill time .

Nice to see the presenters can still keep their hand in when needed!

I was watching 'World News Today' earlier, and noticed when Tim handed over to Lyse Doucet in Cairo, she was astoned as 'Chief International Correspondent'. How long has she held this position for? I thought she was just a World Affairs Correspondent/presenter.

Emily Maitlis & Tim Willcox presenting at 11am. Unusual to see Emily outside of Monday at 2pm!
