I really like Rachael. She's great on 5 Live and shows lots of personality and very good on TV too. I'm hoping for a more regular job on TV eventually!

I'm obviously not as much of a fan as you! I think she is ok - but there are other relief presenters who I prefer.

I agree. She's okay and I don't mind watching every now and again but there are other relief presenter I'd rather see on the weekend.

Interesting that Dan Roan is presenting all the sports news in Bayern rather than having a sports presenter up in Salford.

Just for the record, Adam Parsons *is* allowed to present the sports news and, if I am not mistaken, actually has done so on the News Channel last year.

Tim Willcox has been sent to Greece to help reinstate the Drachma. One wonders if this will mean his name will no longer be mentioned on this thread for at least a week, since I am giving you all advance notice that he has been taken off the rota for this week and, therefore, there is no point in speculating on when he will be on?

What are the odds? A Week Without Willcox? At least in the studio.

Ah.

A Week Without Willcox? How will this thread manage to stay open?

You've hit the nail on the head, Dan. This thread will now be closed forever, as it cannot survive without continuous and hourly references to the man. So, I strongly suggest that anyone who wants to say anything about presenters and rotas does so now and before this thread turns into a Willcox pumpkin at midnight UK time.

And I'm not joking.

I have a few things to say:

A) Great to see Katty Kay reporting from the field again, this time being Canadian oilfields;
B) Also wonderful to see Malcolm Brabant back reporting. He was just on Zeinab Badawi's REPORTERS on World a few moments ago. After all he has gone through, the man deserves a medal;
C) David Willey clearly hasn't retired, as he's just filed LIVE from Rome for World, covering the Bologna Earthquake story;
D) Pooneh Ghoddoosi is probably one of the best newscasters in the World. Brilliant and relaxed;

Where was Malcolm Brabant reporting from? Is he back in Greece?

There's still affable Adam though, who I'm sure will be enough to keep this thread alive until Tim returns.
