Just also spotted Sean Fletcher (former BBC Sport presenter) doing the Sports News on Sky News. The other week, Celina Hinchcliffe was also doing the same thing. Have Sky scooped up all the old BBC talent?

He's now at Sky Sports News - been there quite a while. SSN have provided a significant proportion of Sky News' sports bulletins these days, and there's quite a lot of overlap in staff. Doesn't Sarah Stirk also freelance at Sky News? (She seemed to swap with Karthi Gnanasegaram, who moved over to the Beeb around the same time).

Julia Somerville presenting alongside Matthew Amroliwala this lunchtime and Zeinab Badawi on GMT over on World. Definitely Easter holidays! I wonder if Fiona Armstrong will show up too?

Notice that former BBC Sport reporter (and editor) Mihir Bose is currently on the press preview with Tim Willwork.

He does the papers quite frequently, does he not? I've seen him quite a few times this year alone.

He pops up every few weeks, usually weekdays.

There's normally a few regulars. Ex FA, BBC (& Amanda's dad!) David Davies for example.

John Simpson just used the phrase "Argentina keeps banging on about The Falklands" in a report.

Now I am not the best at gramma (!) but I have to say that is not what I expect from any new channel in the UK.

Hopefully such biased report was not shown on BBC World. Shocked

Not biased at all, its honest reporting... Argentina does keep banging on about the Falklands.

Argentina should wind their necks in... We say NO.. NO... NO... the Fawkland Islands belong to Bwitain... end of conversation.

Sarcasm is difficult to infer online. A wink face would have made it clearer for me at least. Smile

Tim on The Hub tonight instead of Peter Dobbie. They just cut Tim off unceremoniously during his intro.

Nice to see Kasia Madera in the daytime! She's on with Clive Myrie at the moment.
