What does everyone think about the double female pairing? I quite like it. It makes a change. I think Martine and Anita go better than Karin and Anita though.

Anyone else think they might leave this shift free of any one presenter, instead adding odd days to the contracts of others, such as the overnight presenters, relief presenters such as Stuart Flinders and maybe correspondents? Or is it likely they're in the process of choosing a replacement?

it was a bit of a ladies' day on Sunday...

After Tim Willcox, there were appearances from Maxine, Sophie, Karin, Annita and Martine. Jane did the BAFTAs special, too....

Simon McCoy did the morning headlines today on BBC1 - very much welcomed (I don't think he's used enough tbh).

Did he do the News Channel this morning or is he doing the One?

On annual leave?

She has most probably been doing some other work for the BBC or on annual leave.

Anyone recognise the new woman on sport? Called Alison I think. Seems to be a lot of new sports presenters on at the moment without anyone in particular leaving the team.

Also Maryam was presenting the business on Breakfast this morning - possibly why her regular shift seems to have been given to Rachel.

Don't recognise her but they seem to have some pretty weird shift patterns at the moment. Nice to see Sally Nugent back - very warm and friendly I believe! Oli Foster's position seems to include reporting now, often on the national news in place of James Pierce and James Monroe. Dan Walker seems to be in with the BBC Sport team - covering live coverage at the rugby at the weekend (think it was him) and last Ascott.

I also note they're using a double headed Sportsday at weekends now with the little podium - did feel yesterday though a bit awkward with Oli considerably closer to the camera than Dan.
