Hasn't Kate taken on a broader role including reporting for Panorama and doing other projects which may mean she is on screen less but have more longer term involvement in getting them to air.

Would surely of been better keeping her on the BBC News Channel, taking her off it to cover for Sian/ Sophie, then putting her back on?
