Gavin Grey is very good, isn't he? Just a shame we only see him on average about two shifts per month.

Just had a look on Classic FM website - he was on air today it seems. Can't recall him ever doing the News Channel on a Saturday previous to this though, his show finishes at 3pm and the shift he did began at 4pm.

Very funny that Amelia got Gavin's name wrong twice.
When Gavin passed over she said "Thanks Shaun". she then said Shaun again. What newsreader is called Shaun anyway. Shaun Ley. Gavin couldn't have been very happy. I would have said "Thanks Amanda" at the end to to get my own back.
Gavin is an excellent presenter, it's just a shame that Amelia can't get his name right.

He covered a few Saturdays when he first joined BBC News 24 back in early 2007, however this was only a few months before he just stayed on Sundays/relief during the week. Been a few years since he last presented a Saturday shift on the NC, IIRC. Although he did present the BBC1 bulletins on a Saturday a few weeks ago, and has done the Saturday edition of 'Breakfast' a few times.

You seem to do this on a regular basis - just asking who's been presenting different BBC News shifts. In fact, it's all you seem to post!
I know you are an 'editor' on that BBC News Presenters site but if you are supposed to be collecting this info, you shouldn't be relying on other members of a forum for the information on a regular basis. If you can't do the job, don't do it!
