Not sure anybody is saying they are "crap" by default Steve. You have picked out those that have been highlighted as progressed and successful in what they do

However for every good one..... there's !

I don't buy this "Newsround Blues" suggestion that ex-Newsround presenters are by default crap at "proper" news.

Wow they look so young back then. These are the Newsround has ever offered.

True definition of a chain?

Tanya Beckett is in the news anchor chair tonight for World News Today. Meaning that Tanya is filling-in for Tim Willcox, who in turn was filling-in for Kirsty lang (who's assigned to New York for 3 months) who in turn was filling-in for Zeinab Badawi.

Tanya is today's Deputee-ee-ee-ee!

Can't complain, though. Tanya is one of my favourite news presenters, or biz presenters, as the case may be.

Wonder if she'll also be on the early TWT tomorrow as well?

And Tanya is indeed on the 5am LON edition of The World Today! She and Martine Dennis are again providing us with the now regular Friday fun on BBC World News.

Do be careful with that 'A' key.

Eh?

In between TW and T.

Oh my! I think I should get a gold badge for speculating this correctly a few weeks ago.

Correspondent Christian Fraser is (rather excellently) newsreading on BBC World this afternoon, filling-in for the vacationing Dobster.

Christian is good.

Well he was in there a lot 2007-2008 for News 24, and been in there a good few times since then when on the evening shift to do the 9:30pm-10pm section.

To talk briefly about something else. The Sopel/Maitlis relationship was commented on during this week's edition of Newswatch, with clips of some of the things they have had to say!
