Adam Parsons doing the newspaper review with Mihir Bose - an odd little situation, because allegedly the reason Adam left the BBC was because he was snubbed for Sports Editor job, which Mihir took. Any bitter feelings I wonder Wink

Well Adam knows that he got a better job than him now.

Makes a nice change from Chris Eakin, yep. Please don't start the trend of using hashtags on things that aren't Twitter, before we know it it'll be all over the place just like Facebook!

Sorry, sir! #apologies

Sorry, couldn't resist

It's a shame she's been left behind in the coverage of Capello's resignation, she's only done one interview and Matthew has done all the talking and a couple of interviews.

I reckon we'll see Julia on tomorrow and on the Saturday news - and Fiona next week on one of the shifts as it's the school holidays. Shame we don't see them more!

Carole Walker presenting 4pm-7pm today. It's likely Julia Somerville will be on the bulletins - if Fiona Armstrong does the late shift then we've had the whole bunch of older women presenters today. BBC trying to bat off the ageism suggestions again?

Was just thinking so because she did Thursday/Friday on NC so thought she would have hung around to do the weekend news whilst in London. We'll see I'm sure!

A women's day across domestic BBC News today? Since after Breakfast, we've had Maxine Mawhinney, Carole Walker and Fiona Armstrong on the NC, with Jane Hill on BBC1 bulletins!

I believe the correct term would be Ladies' Day. Adam Parsons on World this evening.

Quite odd, is there nobody on duty in Washington if Fiona Trott is reporting the Kidnapping story?
