OMG! Has anyone noticed... Clive Myrie's got a black suit on... and Sue Thearle's wearing a black waistcoat Shocked

Cue 17 pages of speculation......

Any need for the sarcasm? I know this thread isn't to everyones taste (not always mine either) but it's not like I was making a stupid point - I was pointing out that it's possible that Sue wasn't considered senior enough for such a story.... as I said, after the titles we saw the wide shot of the studio with both presenters, but instead of seeing both presenters as normal we went straight to Clive only.

Relax, Drew. What we were actually *joking* about was a thread that I started many years ago, in which we speculated like fury about news presenters on one particular day and across all channels were actually dressed in black.

It turned out to be a pure coincidence.

I guess Rob was just having a larf and a wee indirect jibe at me, given the parallel story of the Duke of Edinburgh last night.

I.e. sick old gentleman, husband of the Queen, but hang on, the newsreaders are wearing black, so there must be more to it than meets the eye................I.e. nineteen pages of speculation will ensue if I was around!

Merry Chrimbles dear.

If so - I do apologise, I had no idea!

Phil is still taking the p!ss out of me about that thread over in the Prince Philip one. Good thing us Scots are thick-skinned, huh?

Peter Dobbie is on the middle shift on World at the moment. Did anyone happen to see who did the morning shift?

Adam Parsons doing a bit of a long shift tonight, he's been on since 4pm and is continuing through 7pm-11:30pm, that's 7 and a half hours!

I don't think he'll continue through to 11:30pm, last year on Christmas Eve the late afternoon shift went from 4-8pm, so somebody else will probably take over at 8pm.

Yes indeed Chris Eakin. I know it's Christmas Eve but it's so strange to see Sophie Raworth and Chris Eakin presenting on a Saturday!

Any indications on who's presenting tomorrow, and when? I know Martine Croxall and Adam Parsons are on at some point on the News Channel, Susanna Reid's on Breakfast and Jane Hill's doing BBC1 bullys, but who else? Maxine Mawhinney most probably.

Doesn't Matthew Amroliwala often appear on Christmas Day?
