Arron Armstrong doing sport this afternoon on the News Channel. Has he been on before? He's normally on Sport today on World News.
If he appeared for the 2:15 headlines only and then disappeared, the BBC World duty sports presenter normally does that headline update - I think it's so the daytime NC presenter gets a decent amount of time for lunch.
If I'm not mistaken, I *think* he had a short stint of presenting the Washington end of the London/Washington BBC World news bulletin in the early-mid 2000s. You know, the one that was usually presented by Adrian Finighan and Mishal Husain? Either that or he presented a few times on BBC News 24. I can't be 100% certain but I just have a feeling that I've seen him presenting in the distant past. Hopefully someone with a better memory might be able to confirm/deny that.

You are spot-on, as always! He was involved in the Mishal/Adrian programme when Mishal was off.
Alert for Karin fans: Karin Giannone is on tonight on the News Channel at 7pm.
Edit: She's on with Tim.
A pleasure to see the fantastic Karin Giannone on the News Channel here in the UK. And also nice to see that we're all on first name only terms with this 'Tim' person.
Adam Parsons newsreading on BBC World this morning, and Maryam Moshiri doing the business news. I have really grown to like Adam's style and wish he was on BBC World more often. He reminds me - in many ways - of Adrian Finighan, who also had (has) a unique style. Serious, yet friendly and somehow imposing at the same time.
Did anyone happen to notice who did The World Today slot this morning? Missed it!
