Rachael Hodges on right now from midnight, does this mean she'll also be making her first appearance on Newsday?

I think she is, according to the BBC World Facebook Page she's on with Sharanjit Leyl.

An unusual occurance, Fiona Bruce presented the News at Six earlier. Now George Alagiah has popped up on the News at Ten!

She filled-in for Sally Bundock for one day on Tuesday this week on World. Juliette is a master.

Are they now continually doing evenings with just one presenter these days?
Just turned on for first time in evening for a few weeks and it's just Clive Myrie on his own on the News Channel

Tonight, Adam Parsons will be doing the 10:30pm shift, following hand-over from the BBC News at Ten. With his backgrounds covering the spectra of news, business and sport, Adam will be good in the newspaper review, methinks!

Whereas here in Worldland, we have Jamie Robertson and Mike Embley.

No, that is not usual - Joanna has only done Monday-Wednesday for the past few weeks but she has been relieved by others. Wonder whats happening at 21:30 in N8, Adam Parsons? Or short filler program like Meet the Author for Clive to dash to N8..

The answer is - Adam Parsons! Like Tim Willcox, this man seems to like working long hours.

Surely the B.O.T.H. could bee done by Mike Embley, who will already be sitting in N8? (at least for the one minute news summary?)

It's more than one minute - BBC World go off to a filler programme and we get other news stories, business and sport from N8.
