"Tim" did the late shift on BBC World last night, and I gather he's doing the morning shift on the News Channel at the moment with Her Royal Highness, Sue Thearle.
Alert for Karin Giannone fans in the UK: were lending her to the News Channel this afternoon at 2pm for a three hour afternoon shift. But please don't get too comfortable, as she is ours and we will need her back very soon.

(said in jest, of course.)
And no doubt Tim will be doing the evening or late shift tonight on the NC too - I think the last person to cover that late shift was Roger Johnson and I don't think we'll be seeing him anymore!
It will be nice to see Karin in the UK again - it's a shame they don't bring out the over 50s much to cover shifts though, we've not seen Fiona Armstrong for over 2 months! (although I reckon she'll be doing the evening shift next week covering school holidays for Joanna)
Agreed. Karin is great. She is the new Ice Maiden. Super Cool news presenters are high-up in my estimation. Karin is most certainly one of those. I am glad that she'll be back on World on Monday though (not that we don't mind sharing our jewels, though. LOL).
No Karin Giannone on World this weekend: wonder who we're getting then??
Ponders.
Edit: contrary to my earlier assumption, Lyse Doucet is not on the way to Tripoli, but is in fact in the studio in London, anchoring Impact.

Sorry to be difficult, but is he presenting the news or the business?
This was a news bulletin at 2100 cet. On Fridays this is just a regular news bulletin done from the small pod. On other days it's part of WNT with Zeinab/Kirsty.
Jamie Robertson does this shift on Fridays and besides this 2100 bulletin it also includes a double headed 30 minute slot at 2300 cet and a few World Biz Report editions. Not sure if this new guy did that all this too tonight, I would guess so.
Adam Parsons didn't appear on BBC World yesterday. His next appearance on BBC World will be next Tuesday morning in the David Eades slot.
Tim was filling-in for Zeinab Badawi yesterday, and Adam was filling in for Tim on his usual Friday evening News Channel slot.
Ben Thompson used to be based at the BBC World Dubai bureau and was often a reporter/presenter on Middle East Business Report. From what you've posted above, looks like he was filling-in for Jamie Robertson on the late one yesterday on World.
Tanya Beckett is now doing the early morning slot every Friday, including the three hours of (what we still like to call) The World Today segment.
Aaron Heslehurst has been away all week too, so we've had Sally Eden and Jamie Roberston in Aaron's normal slot.
George Alagiah has also been away all week. It was Naga Munchetty on GMT all week.
