Has Maxine Mawhinney got changed? Wearing blue now, could have sworn she was wearing pink during The Politics Show news summary.

Does the Politics Show use blue screen or green screen? Maybe there was a technical issue with what she was wearing meaning she had to briefly change.

Yes, she was wearing pink for the Politics Show.

Well, occassionally here on World, we do have random appearances which sometimes make us yell, and sometimes it's a pleasure to see an old face again.

Yesterday's weekend line-up: Pascale Harter, Peter Dobbie and James Coomarasamay, in that order.

Today Sunday: the fabulous Maryam Moshiri, Karin Giannone and Peter Dobbie in that order.

Great to see Maryam reading the news on World again, and no Jon Sopel in her way to make her miserable. LOL.

Without referring to individuals, I think these are a better plan of shifts. Personally, I would do single-headed after 6pm and all day weekends.

Do without the 5. Do without the separate BBC News at One presenter (perhaps alternate betweeen the two rosters on the 12-3 shift). Whoever does the Six does the Ten as well.
No BBC One presenters at the weekend. At all - just use whoever the News Channel presenter is.

There are a few shifts there saved, mostly out of the BBC One and evenings pot.

Tim Willcox reading the news on BBC World this afternoon, which means he'll also be doing Impact and The Hub reading from the pod as well.

Not breaking news in itself, but I've just realised watching him now: are we "Timmed-out"? "Timfatigue"?

It was Annita and Rachel at 8.30am and then Matthew and Julia at 11am

She only seems to do Mondays these days - has she been back to normal in these past couple of weeks?

She does Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Unless she is travelling with World Debate or other broadcast commitments.

Kirsty Lang is the lady for Tuesdays and Wednesdays normally. Occassionally Tim or Phillippa Thomas.
