BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

I like how they've used Clive and Annita this weekend. Annita covering parts of Maxine's daytime hours, whilst Clive presents his usual evening shift. Good use of resources in my opinion.

It looks like Kate Silverton has gone on maternity leave - she said on Twitter she was due for the BBC News at One on Monday but was considering bringing her last shift forward. Simon McCoy is doing the One today..

Why are all female anchors today on BBC World, including Mariko Oi in Singapore, wearing red? Is this a conspiracy? Are they all Chris de Burgh fans? This post is deja-vu for moi. At least that's what Lucy Hockings has posted on Twitter!

George Alagiah has rushed over to be on the One Show this evening.

Fiona Bruce was on the other week after doing the Six.

What are they doing there??

George Alagiah was promoting a new series he's doing for the BBC.

Its interesting seeing Huw on location because his eyes don't seem to wander all over the place, in comparison to when he's in the studio and is often more worried about whats going on round him than looking at or speaking to camera.

He still continues to look down at his script when the auto-cue is right in front of him. It annoys me for one!
