Tim Willcox did the morning shift on BBC World. He is now going on to do Impact Asia for two hours, again on BBC World. And, one assumes he will be back tonight on the News Channel, seeing as it's a Friday?

I wonder if this is how he builds up for a weekend of fun, by working twenty hours on a Friday?

I think I read on twitter that Rachael Hodges is on tonight from 10.30...

Luisa Baldini doing 2-5 again on the News Channel today with Julian, this time taking the lead presenter role.

Though at 3pm at least, Hywel Griffth was presenting live from Wales, and doing a very good job. Has he presented for BBC Wales before?

Business Edition: Jamie Robertson unusually did the early biz shift on World yesterday (normally it's Aaron), and Juliette Foster did the later shift, including the co-anchor segment with Mike Embley. Now, Mike and Juliette are two of my favourite presenters on BBC World News, especially Juliette, who I have admired for years through her work on Sky beforehand. But, the double-header programme - for some reason - is as flat as a pancake. It is almost tediously boring and painful to watch, for reasons that I can't quite put my finger on. As I said, I like and respect both of the presenters. But, there is something with the formatting of the programme that is just not quite right. Anyone else getting this notion?

I know what you mean, James. I saw Business Edition a few weeks ago presented by the usually excellent Mike Embley and Tanya Beckett. However, it was a very disjointed and fairly dull programme. There was hardly any interaction between Mike and Tanya, which is why I think it came across like this. CNN may be a lot of things, but BBC World could take a leaf out of their book when it comes to co-presentation. I always feel the BBC presenters need to relax a little bit more, especially on BBC World. The Virtual Six O'Clock News-style main presenter and co-presenter format during the daytime works quite well because they are physically in separate parts of the studio. However, Mike and Tanya are sat right next to each other at the same desk and so the lack of interaction is quite noticeable.

Interesting to see Victoria Derbyshire on Breakfast with Charlie this morning!

A double Martini on BBC World today: first shift Martine Dennis. Next shift: Martine Croxall.

Adam Parsons on the News Channel later, making it his twelfth day on the trot, or something like that.

She seems rather cold and boring, not suited for breakfast TV when a personality is needed. Unfortunately, I can't say that this will be her last appearance. An excellent journalist, especially on 5 Live, but not suited to this sort of programming.

Indeed, Ad is on the NC now from 7pm, and will stay right through til midnight. Is it really his twelfth day on the trot?! He wasn't on the News Channel or World News last Saturday (if he's only presented every day on WN since Sunday).

Clive Myrie was on between 4 and 7 today. I take it he and Annita are now daytime presenters at the weekend (don't know if that's the best way to word it!)

I wonder if Clive and Annita are just covering for Sophie and Tim (who often fill that shift) who have been covering Maxine Mawhinney's shift over the last few weeks.

I think it was a last minute arrangement for her to be presenting Breakfast - she only tweeted a couple of hours before going on air that she'd be presenting with Charlie S this morning (see below), also in the Radio Times Louise Minchin was down to present.

Up early to do Breakfast News with Charlie S and @mikebreakfast - watch them from 6am, I sneak in around 7

Adam's still on now at midnight, when the overnight presenter would normally take over to gt through until 6.

Just relating to a few posts ago, why does the female presenter not do the first hour of Breakfast on a Saturday? Doesn't this happen in a similar guise on Sunday?

Yes. Gavin Grey on BBC News overnights!!!
