And he's not doing World News Today either, as Philippa Thomas just did the trailer. So, Tim's maybe having an early night then. Either that, after the five, he'll be going to LHR for a Boeing to Tripoli perhaps.

He's on the NC right now BBC WORLD, till 9pm with Luisa Baldini. Rachael Hodges is doing his usual Friday late shift.
Who is the N6Gallery on twitter? Is it a genuine BBCer or a comedian? It's quite bitchy and nobody seems to have escaped - the recent tweets alone "describe" Matthew's height (a lot - is he that short?), Tim Willcox's shouting and tanning, Andrew Marr's ears, N9 is a "****", Olly Foster's attire and plenty of agree-able musings! Love it!

Looks like some disgruntled BBC News employee or the Gallery has turned into the Knight Rider Car with a voice of its own. Some of the presenter comments are pretty harsh though, however some of the other comments did have me cracking up!

Disgruntled? - or just somebody with a sense of humour that isnt offending anyone with In-Jokes that are quite tame compared to what is said between staff in most offices.
BBC World Morning Shift today: the one and only Pascale Harter going solo. Although clearly an experienced radio presenter, one wonders how she would handle the potential breaking news out of Libya later today.

I think it must be some fun, rather than anything sinister. Jane Hill also appears to know them:
Quote:
@JaneHillNews Jane Hill
@N6Gallery I send you all my love! But am having a fab time. Have cried twice today - in the theatre world this is a good thing! X
And Pascale Harter's shift has ended. Now we have Sonali Shah on World.
With Gadaffi on the loose and Irene wreaking havoc in the USA, this could well be a baptism of fire for both Pascale and Sonali.
The mind boggles...................
Sonali Shah. This I have to watch!!
EDIT: Not the worst of deliveries, but why should she get such a quick promotion (albeit a relief job) to BBC World News when I'm sure lots of people who are better qualified would be equally willing to present on the weekend. A few slip-ups and mistakes, she lacks credibility and authority though, which unfortunately only comes with experience, which she doesn't have at the moment.
I am all for giving people a chance, so I don't at all mind having her on BBC World. It's just the nature of the news these days (Libya in particular) that will demand someone with far more RN experience, should things develop further.

I agree definitely, but she has been promoted far too quickly, even for a weekend World job, she should have started domestically on the News Channel for far less viewers, reading the sport. It should have been far more gradual. Breaking news really demands experience like you say. I'd say that's one of the most important things in journalism.
