TIm embarassed just now by Maryam who blamed a loud noise during her business segment on him dropping his hairspray, followed by Joanna teasing him about it. According to him he doesn't use hairspray, just shampoo. Yeah right.

Ohh they had a spat at 6.45pm too, Maryam noting that he's done a lot of shifts recently, which should be good for his pension plan.

WMTW was not amused.

I heard his hairdo was constructed using a chicken-wire frame and some intricate rush-weaving.

Jon Sopel on the Six now, first time he's done a national bulletin for ages.

Much better to have Jon back on the Six - is Fiona around or do you think Jon will do the 10?

I like Jon too - Fiona's on the Ten according to the RT, but it is sometimes wrong, so you never know.

The six has been much better all this week with Jon, Sian, Sophie and Fiona presenting rather than George

And it's not Fiona on the Ten, but Sophie. A long day seeing as she did the One as well.

Using the ITV method then, like when they have one presenter on a Saturday, with the first bulletin at 11am and the last at 11.40pm!

Of course, not to the same extent, as such... (unless Sophie did the morning updates?)

So you're saying Sophie did the One and the Ten, but not the Six? Perhaps it is in her contract that she can only do two bulletins a day? Does she not present on the News Channel either, IIR she has done a few News 24 shifts which was kind of random.

Also, Tim Wilcox was presenting from at least 2PM, if not earlier, and I turned on at midnight and he was STILL there?! This just gets weirder and weirder every week.
