Adam Parsons is with Nik Gowing on World at the moment. Hmmmmm.
Is Tim Willcox on his annual holiday this week? He hasn't been seen, heard or spotted on the News Channel since last Saturday. Has he been on World at all?
Seems to me as though they're trying to turn Adam Parsons into the next Tim Willcox, what with his many appearances and presenting on both the BBC News Channel and BBC World News. Which I doubt they'll ever achieve since Tim is far superior to Parsons in terms of newsreading!
Adam Parsons and Nik Gowing on with each other?? Bet that's like watching chalk and cheese! LOL
I haven't seen Tim on since Saturday either. And the omnipresent Peter Dobbie seems to have been away for weeks as well. Adam Parsons was on the channel the other day. At first I wasn't keen, but he settled down after a while. However, he appears quite awkward today on The Hub.
Good to see Komla Dumor weightlifting! LOL.
Sopel next?

Also Martine Croxall presented today's 8pm (well 8:30pm) Summary! Her first time presenting it! They really need Celina back but I'm enjoyed having different presenters on there like Martine, Sophie Long and Mishal.
Matt Frei had his last day at the BBC today according to his twitter:
Last day at BBC. Clearing my desks. Detritus of last decade packed in 6 bin liners. Starting Channel 4 in September
She still does The World Today slot frequently. And tomorrow and Sunday, she will be doing Breakfast, apparently.
Did anyone see who did The World Today this morning with Tanya Beckett? It's normally Martine Dennis on a Friday, but Karin Giannone has also been on this week.
I was watching the BBC News Channel for most of last night post midnight. It seemed to be a programme called Newsday from BBC World, with a reporter in London and one somewhere in Asia, mixed with a short sports report. Is this normal for the overnight service? Apologies if this is mentioned earlier!
