BBC News: Presenters & Rotas

Dunno where he's gone. Maybe he's on his way back over here for the 8pm bulletin on World, which is normally presented by the Biz Presenter on a Friday (Zeinab only does one segment on a Friday). Therefore, I am guessing that Tim will be on with Jamie Robertson on World at the upcoming TOTH, as opposed to Jamie doing the breaking on his own. (Mike Embley due a bit later on. Ros Atkins back on World for the 30 minutes to 8pm).

By the way, we don't normally get to see Annita McVeigh on BBC World. However, isn't she bloody good!

Tim does the 10:30pm-12:30am shift on the NC on Fridays so he's probably off for a break before that. Rachel Hodges was most likely supposed to be presenting anyway if she is there.

I think she is an excellent presenter but never seems to have much charisma or warmth. She is much better than Clive Myrie though, her usual partner on Fridays and far better than other NC presenters who present in the evenings such as Ben Brown.

Are Channels simulcasting then? My rota report is based on the national BBC News which I am watching through the proxy now.
And yes, Annita is nice, but sometimes she looks like a strict teacher.

No, I don't think they are simulcasting at this hour (8pm UK time). Mike Embley introduced the bulletin as a "BBC World News" tag.

Timbo is indeed back on now to do his 'standard' shift, 2230-0100 on the NC. I don't personally rate Rachael Hodges very highly as a presenter, OK reading the autocue and obviously a very attractive lady, just completely lacking in authority, charisma, personality or on-screen presence. Although of course, like other presenters before her, such as Kasia Madera, Sophie Long, Annita McVeigh etc, I'm sure she'll improve over time as she gains more experience.
