Today is Owen Thomas' last day at the BBC. Doing the business news segments and final double header later with Tim, Mike or Peter?? Not sure.

Wow! Tim Willcox, I believe has done the 0500-0800 World shift and then, as it's a UK bank holiday, 1800-1830, 1900-2200 and 2230-0100 shifts. I think that's the longest I've seen him on for, and I've been 'into' news for about 2 years!

Yes, Rachel Hodges was on the whole overnight. Is she an old face who has returned? I've never seen her before. Also, Peter Dobbie on The World Today for Easter Monday, after being on World last night. Wonder if he slept in the newsroom.

Rachel has been reading the news on Radio 5 Live for a number of years, often during Richard Bacon and Tony Livesey's late night programmes, sometimes on other slots. She's been doing Sport headlines on the channel and interactive I think ...

I doubt Alistair's gone anywhere, I'm sure he's just taking a few weeks off. Nice that we've seen more of Deborah Mackenzie the last two weeks, presumably covering for Adnan. Never understood why she's used so little.
