If you ask me, I'd say she's definitely in the pipeline to take over from Gavin/Emily in upcoming years. Then Gavin and Emily, or maybe Matt Frei, or even Jon Sopel, to take over from Jeremy and Kirsty when they ultimately leave/retire. We sure are starting to see signs of Jeremy or Kirsty or somebody leaving!!

Why would anyone assume any of the Newsnight presenters are preparing to leave just because Mishal is doing some presenting? Absurd surely? I can't see Kirsty leaving anytime soon, why would she? Gavin - no chance, and as for Emily - come on, she's only been doing it a couple of years.
If Mishal started doing the Ten more than Fiona, would we all assume Fiona is prepping to leave? No!

Naga on the Eades slot again on World today. Have to say, she is kinda growing on me. She is fitting in quite well methinks. But where is David?

I imagine World is where Naga will be staying mostly now on - other than covering Breakfast here in the UK. After all before being at the BBC she was at Bloomberg so may be a familiar face to some World viewers.
