Does anyone know if Naga Munchetty has permanently taken over from Jonathan Charles' 0500-0800 GMT slot on BBC World News? If so, who will be taking over Naga's overnight shifts? Someone mentioned Adnan Nawaz did it on Thursday morning, did he do it Friday and this morning as well? And if so, did you think he was at all good? Additionally, if you didn't think he was very good, who would you like to see take over Naga's old slot? Or even JC's old slot if you don't think Naga's very good for that?
Also, what do people think of Clive and Annita alternating the weekends? I think it's a very good move, also doesn't provide the need for so many relief presenters, because they can both now cover various shifts throughout the week (and Clive can cover BBC1 Weekend News and Breakfast, etc)

Babita Sharma and Adnan Nawaz will be taking over the night-shifts - succeeding Naga Munchetty and Martine Croxall. Not a hundred per-cent sure if this is a permanent solution - but that's the arrangement for the next few months at least.

Adnan was on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights I believe (during the NC&World Simulcasts).
He's not bad, I think if he's presenting general news (not sport) more often he'll be very good.
I don't know if this has been asked before, but why don't the overnight bulletins use a wide shot of the studio, out of the titles - before doing a presenter shot. They occasionally do it (if rarely) why not make it the norm?

... and here's Babita with the business news (Jon Sopel line comes to mind).
She's very good also
Whats happened to Martine Croxall?
So the overnight line up is now... Alastair Yates, Adnan Nawaz & Babita Sharma, with Juliet Dunlop, James Dagwell and Kasia Madera as stand in?

I have have to say, i wasn't Naga's biggest fan but I've watched her this week and I've liked her. I thought she was mutch better on the world slot than on Breakfast or the BBC news channel. Also, Bob Paisley said a few weeks ago that Komla Dumor was going to be doing the alternative weeks to Naga - anyone know if this will happen next week?
I've enjoyed seeing Annita during the week when she has done the odd relief shift which she didn't used to do when she did the full weekend.
Martine seems to have been on Saturday and Sunday every weekend this year.

Does Kasia Madera still present? I saw her reporting on Breakfast this morning but haven't seen her in the newsreader's chair on the NC in ages, I don't know if she still does some overnights though?

Sometimes, she did the overnight the Egypt story started growing. And I remember her doing a slot on the NC, possibly on a friday, not that long ago.
