Simon did the 11am update on BBC 1 but Sophie is now doing the news at 1...bit strange!

How come Reeta Chakrabarti is now an Education Correspondent?

What happened to Sarah ? (Can't remember her surname!)

I know she got married, so perhaps she's having a baby?

My take on it would be that the politics department was slightly overstaffed (following Jo Coburn's return to reporting) and education is playing such a big role in the political news at the moment, it doesn't hurt to put a political correspondent who went to Oxford in as Education correspondent.

In case any one's wondering (as I can't remember the earlier question being solved) the new business presenter on the News Channel is Jenny Culshaw, former series producer of Working Lunch.
