Didn't know where to post this - but who on Earth continues inviting back Yasmin Alibhai Brown to the paper reviews on the BBC News Channel - and other shows and channels as a matter of fact?

She is just ghastly - she talks over and disagrees with everybody's views and then screeches out her middle-class, racist, Daily Mail-esque rubbish. Someone shut her up please.

Did anyone see who presented the late bulletin this evening?

Timothy Willcox.

Tim was on World quite a lot last week too.

I suppose that kind of explains why he only did his usual shift on the NC last week (Friday lates)

According to Mother, she has appeared on The Wright Stuff too.

That programme is bad enough with Matthew Wright anyway. (He has a face you want to punch!)

He was off sick part of last week & Hardeep Singh Kolhi was presenting instead.

Isn't he supposed to be some sort of comedian as I've been at funnier funerals?

Annita McVeigh's on solo again, 3rd Saturday in a row - I think it's quite a very good idea, but can we say this is now just 'her' shift.

So this will leave Clive only shift on Friday's - I suppose he'll pick up relief shifts.

Clive single headed tonight - perhaps they will alternate.

Wow, I'm assuming you saw her 'fight' with John Torode, who also thought that she was talking nonsense about her "best friend's jealousy of her visits to hospital", and Annita was trying not to laugh. I think this Yasmin fellow is brilliant! She's so funny and just steals the show. I'd love to see her on with Jon and Emily - how long d'ya think that would go on for?!!!!!

I've seen her on many shows and programs before - and she's just beyond vile, she is so rude and has unbelievably racist and left-wing views that don't even begin to make sense, and then she forces those views upon anyone around her by shouting over them. Complete nutter woman.

As entertaining and moronic to see Yasmin, Annita should have instigated to bring the focus back to the newspaper review. She lacked control and authority, and just let them carry on arguing. Quite funny IMO

Things are hotting up in Tunisia. It looks like the outlets are now sending their big guns there. BBC's Lyse Doucet has flown to Tunis from Washington. One presumes she will present Impact and The Hub from Tunis, or at least provide inputs.

One wonders if she was diverted from Abu Dhabi, where the world energy symposium is now taking place and featuring the likes of Ban Ki Moon and President Zardari of Pakistan. Some good debating potential amongst the attendees.

Chris Eakin back on his shift tonight, looks like last week was only temporary (thank God Very Happy )

Nice, relevant banter between himself and Huw about his time in Cardiff
