Victoria Derbyshire presented a couple of weekend shifts last year on the news channel if you remember
If you ask me, chris_rgu, I'd say the 5 live schedule is wrong. Why would RT say she's presenting Breakfast if she isn't?
Radio times often makes mistakes, a lot of which have been covered on this forum. I would expect the BBC's schedule to be more accurate than the Radio Times. Five live's description reads writes about her kicking off the first programme of the year.
The schedule for Mon 27th Dec 2010, as shown on the BBC News Channel
MON 27 DEC 2010 (Bank Holiday):
0000-???: BBC News with James Dagwell
0600-0900: Breakfast with Charlie Stayt and Louise Minchin
0900-1100: BBC News with Chris Rogers and Carrie Gracie
1100-1340: BBC News with Matthew Amroliwala and Ellie Crisell
1340-1350: BBC News at One with Matthew Amroliwala
1350-1400: BBC News with Matthew Amroliwala and Ellie Crisell
1400-???: BBC News with Tim Willcox and Emily Maitlis
A surprisingly strong line-up today! It's very good of them to come in to keep us abreast of the day's developments during this yuletide.
And Lyse Doucet has just taken over from Karin Giannone on World! And she's at the barstools too! First time I've ever seen Lyse on those small stools at the pod!
I wonder if she will do The Hub, or just a normal branded bulletin at the next hour?

Hello, just to say James Dagwell stayed until 0532, doing the full bulletin at 5am and the news summary at 5.30 when unusually Maryam Moshiri did World Business Report and the BBC World News programme by herself until 0600, she was joined by the guest for the newspaper review and did the UK headlines during the World break.
Tim Willcox (again) and Sophie Long when I tuned in around 21.20. (The Sport bulletin was on around then so I presume they were showing a taped programme at 2130). Presume Roger Johnson will be doing Chris Eakin's normal shift?
Roger Johnston on now....was he on before the bulletin at 10pm?
No, Roger JOHNSON (spelling!) started at 2215, standing up at the wall first, and then doing the rest of the shift normally. Not too sure who did Breakfast or morning shift - but I can say that James Dagwell did the overnight shift, and Karin Giannone did the BBC World News 5am programme with Juliette Foster - a quite funny TOTH as Juliette, in her heels looked almost twice the height of Karin! And Matthew Amroliwala and Jane Hill did the 11-2, with Jane Hill also doing a short version of The News At One.

Indeed. Juliette is tall, and Karin is small. I think they were quite good actually, and it makes me wonder which pairing will take over from the departing Jonathan Charles and the temporarily absent Sally Bundock. I would quite like to see Juliette presenting more news and/or business on World.
And one thing that they did well today was close the bulletin properly. No hurried hash-up, and a very tidy ending and goodbyes.
