Don't centre and right wing parties believe in equality?
That would explain a few things.

Of course the centre and most of the right-wing parties believe in equality, Gavin.
It's just that equality happens to be the far left's pet project. Labour snap at people's heels like a Jack Russel terrier, barking, "don't treat disabled people differently!!!" and now they're barking, "the newsreader should have treated the disabled man differently!!!"
Ridiculous contradictions such as that are the reason I moved to the centre. They make the cogs in my head jam!

Poppycock.
Have you been round to check all 5000 complainants to see their Labour membership card? I think it suits your rather glib point to make assumptions, but it doesn't make it true.

If the complainants believe in equality then they are hypocrites regardless of their political allegiances.
How about that?
Anyway. Is it not wrong to assume that somebody is incapable of doing something just because they're in a wheelchair?

I'm not addressing any other aspect but your assumption that there is any correlation between those who complained, and those with "far left" political leanings.
I pulled you up on one thing - don't try and fast talk out of it.

They came out of an Obama press conference straight to a 2-shot of Louise and Ben, then went into the headlines. At the end of the title sequence, Ben had vanished. Looked odd, if you were paying attention...

The Five is with Louise Minchin, who co-anchored 2-5 with Ben Brown.
