Tim Willcox has been at BBC World for most of the last ten days, due to the absences of Lyse Doucet, Mishal Husain and Nik Gowing. Tim has filled-in on all of their regular programmes, as well as BBC World News generic bulletins.
Same applies to Peter Dobbie. Peter has been on the BBC World news 20 days!
Crikey not seen her for a while, I wonder what she did after the itv news channel and London tonight.
She was well regarded at itn and itv news and certainly wasn't freelance or appeared to be freelance. If
not mistake about half way thru 2005 disappeared for months and reappeared for a bit when the news channel had closed and disappeared off again from itn
Mishal will be presenting on Christmas Day again according to her twitter.
That will be interesting to see, IIRC she was on BBC1 quite a bit last Christmas, she did Christmas Day of course, didn't she also do a couple of bulletins the week after as well?
Who else do we think will be appearing on BBC1 bulletins/Breakfast/News Channel over Christmas & New Year? I wager we'll see quite a bit of the likes of Jane Hill, Kate Silverton, Tim Willcox etc
