Also thought it was different to see Ellie Crisell doing the evening shift tonight with Matthew - did she still do her BBC1 update at 8.30?


At 8, and yes she does. When she presents the evening shift she 'pops out' of N6 for a short while to do it.

Does that mean he was doing fitness regimes in the studio? Confused

Chris Rogers and Emma Crosby on this afternoon's shift - two presenters who seem to be challenging Tim Wilcox for the title of most seen presenters.


Emma back on screen again this afternoon! (She needs a regular role)

Tim Willcox is here on BBC World today, presenting Impact (Lyse Doucet is on assignment in Pakistan).

Ros Atkins really is growing on me. His style of newscasting is great.

Not sure why Ben was doing exercises in the studio - we'd already seen a correspondent doing it in a sports hall moments before.

Who's the business presenter today? Seems to have adopted Aaron Hestlehurst and Robert Peston's shouting style.

Christine Mcgourty appearing in a report on the energy prices audit - was she interviewed earlier on the channel? (Christine was previously the main science correspondent for the BBC).
