When was the last time Chris Rogers was on ?.

Poor Jamie Robertson! No wonder you were smirking and then heavily shuffling your papers at the end of your bulletin. Your Business Editor (who you interviewed on World a few moments ago) is an a**e.

Clearly, your were being pressed in your ear for time over-run, but Editor didn't make anything easy for you by rambling nonsense beyond reason.

And then he went on to publicise his blog, which no one in Worldland reads anyway, and gave the impression that he was the sole global authority on economics! What a tw*t. He reminds me of the hapless guy from The Vicar of Dibley. (Is it Hugo?)

Didn't he cover for Ben's evening shift the other day?

Yes, he did. He covered the evening shift last Tuesday, that, in answer to ginofish's question, was the last time Chris Rogers presented.

I think Jonathan Charles is doing GMT whilst George Alagiah is in Afghanistan. Therefore, Sally Bundock (news) and Sally Eden (biz) are co-presenting The World Today this morning.

Quite apt, as the leading story today is a big financial one.

Jon Sopel on the News at One today. Shame we see so little of him on BBC 1 (Politics Show aside).

Rare to see Joanna Gosling on weekday afternoons. With Ben Brown, too.

I guess Emily was due to present this afternoon but they sent her on location and called Joanna earlier. Idea

I'd assume it was Jon and Emily today for the afternoon shift. Jon moved to the 1 and Sophie who was down to do the 1 today was pulled off to work on the News Special scheduled for 19.30 on BBC2.

Summary of the Special.

Sophie Raworth narrates the love story of the couple who, one day, will become the most famous husband and wife in the world.

Sophie might cover the 10 from the studio too if Huw is on location or Kate may now be covering the 6 and 10 from the studio if sophie is just doing thing on BBC2.

I can't imagine Sophie will be doing the six tonight if she's on BBC 2 just an hour after its end. I'd also have thought Fiona Bruce would be the most likely candidate to present the six and ten from the studio should Huw be on location, rather than Kate.

Not sure Kate has been in today?
