Emma Crosby back on the News Channel tonight, this time with Chris Rodgers

He seems to be making more and more appearances just lately, is he now an official relief presenter?

My guess would be yes although he does have other duties such as the newsreader on LBC Breakfast.

That's good then, he is a very good newsreader, very clear, competent and authorative.

Yeah he also used to present on the ITV News Channel so he's well used to rolling news and breaking stories, I also think I seen him reporting a few weeks back.

Note to self: her name was Madeleine Morris. (In fact, her name probably still is Madeleine Morris...........)

Presumbly the sister of Kylie Morris from Channel 4 News (also Australian)

I Don't rellay watch C4 News but what does Kylie Morris do now that More 4 News has come to an end.

Not seen her present anything before, but she was a correspondent based in Washington a few months back.

Didn't Emma Crosby and Chris Rogers co-present on Sky News in 2003, before he left for ITV News?

IIRC he left Sky for ITN shortly after expressing his annoyance over being taken off air as 9/11 was breaking.

The irony is if anything similar happens while he's on air at the Beeb, there's a 50% chance the same will happen!
(Based on previous big stories where there's a rolling news simulcast, one of the NC presenters(if double headed at the time) will be replaced or joined by a BBC One face!)
