Alongside Andrew Neil on the Daily Politics coverage, only Nick Robinson, Stephanie Flanders and Robert Peston are listed. Perhaps he will do the coverage on the BBC News Channel instead.

Think he will be...I read on a website last month that Huw normally hosts some award ceremony but can't this year because of the spending review. Bill is doing it instead as I seem to recall.

That's probably true actually, since Bill hasn't been on Breakfast at all this week, which means Charlie Stayt has been covering.

Just one question - why is it whenever Charlie Stayt covers for Bill during the week, that whoever's covering for Charlie Stayt at the weekend can't be the same person for Saturday AND Sunday? eg. last weekend it was Nicholas Owen on Saturday and then Jon Kay on Sunday, other weekends it's been Clive Myrie and Nicholas, etc.

I'm guessing that's why Laura Kuenssberg was fronting yesterday afternoon's coverage and not a main presenter.

Hope he gets back soon!

Good to see Deborah MacKenzie on the overnights again. Haven't seen her for such a very long time.

Confirmed by David Eades on Twitter that Matthew Price is now Europe Correspondent. It caught me by surprise too actually.

The combination of Christian Fraser and Matthew Price, along with Gavin Hewitt, is a good one indeed.
