She was on the early morning/ afternoon shift earlier, so I suspect someone has dropped out at the last minute or the BBC always planned to have the first NC shift presenter stay on for the BBC 1 teatime bulletin. So presumably it will be someone else tonight.

Who's been doing E24 on weekday evenings since Tasmin Lucia-Khan left, does anyone know?

I don't think it runs anymore does it? We seem to get more business news. Not 100% sure but I think that what happens now!

E24 was canned, replaced on the NC by additional business news (which also holds the "coming up" slots E24 used to during the six). Maryam seems to be the usual presenter again, after periods of Rachel Horne and Dominic Laurie. Anyone know why Babita Sharma is virtually banished from the NC these days? She only seems to appear as an occasional overnight presenter now.

In regards to Tasmin Lucia Khan's replacement, Sam Naz (clicky) seems to do the evening headlines (and presumably 60 seconds on BBC Three) these days.
