They are the only interesting pairing there.

Simon and Carrie can have some fun.

True, forgot about them, I rarely watch that slot.

Jon and Emily are both experienced, credible with a lot of knowledge but at the same time have great banter and fun, at times even a bit bizarre. Laughing

I'd agree with that! They actually make for some nice entertainment - and work well with Maryam Moshiri, Babita Sharma, Dominic Laurie and a bunch of the sports presenters too.

Is that blonde sports bird up the duff?

Looks a bit tight round the tummy area!

If Bill or Sian ever quit Breakfast (I hope they don't), I'd really love Simon and Carrie to front the programme. It's such a shame that their brilliant on-screen relationship goes unnoticed to the people who don't tune in 8:30-11:00 on the NC. There's always something entertaining that will happen. And then, if they had Tomasz Schafernaker, they'd be even more scandals and alike!

I haven't seen Fiona Armstrong, Zeinab Badawi, Carole Walker or Julia Somerville on much this Summer, when we've instead seen faces like Kasia Madera and even Razia Iqbal. Does anyone know why, or if the "Over 50s" presenters' fairly limited contracts are still in place? I would have thought they'd be getting them in to cover for Louise, who seems to be on a six month secondment to Breakfast?

Carole was on a couple of weekends ago and Fiona covered at least a week for Joanna if not more.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Simon front 'Sunrise' on Sky News before Eamonn deflected from GMTV?

Not directly before, no. Simon departed for the BBC in late 2003 IIRC, and Greg Milam took over Sunrise, with Steve Dixon briefly becoming the main presenter before Eamonn came along.

Ahh Ok, thanks for that!
