She didn't ever present BBC Three News with Eddie Mair. WHilst they both presented news programmes on BBC Three, Sangita didn't work with Eddie. (Tazeen Ahmad did both eras though)

She presented the BBC Three 15 mins "The News Show" and "The Seven O'Clock News on BBC Three" with Julian Worricker and then Ben McCarthy, along with Tazeen Ahmad, which was launched when BBC Three launched.

Sangita had left BBC Three News before the show relaunched as a 30 minute show with Eddie Mair and Tazeen Ahmad presenting, and then Paddy O'Connell. (Sevi Lawson also presented with Eddie and then Paddy, moving to full time when Tazeen left on maternity leave)

Julian Worricker really ought to be given a full time proper job on BBC News. He is superb. Then again perhaps he likes being a temp?

Agreed ...Being selfish I'd like him to take over the 12 till 2 slot on Radio Two first.

Chris Eakin is doing the Evening shift tonight which is a change. I can't recall the last time he did anything other than 2230-0030.

Yea, the last time I remember him with a co-presenter (after his stint with Jane in early 2006 ended) was with Gwenan Edwards..and she hasn't been around for ages.

Not sure where to put this...but thought that this would be best.....Susanna Reid is standing in for Jon Sopel on the Politics Show this Sunday.

Have to say i'm a little surprised by this....however can't remember the last time that Jon was off the politics show...so no idea who filled in.

Apart from interviews on Breakfast, does Susanna have much of a politics background?

And before anybody jumps down my throat for a *source* its this weeks Politics Show email!

IIRC the London presenter, Tim Donavon??, has presented before in Jon's absence.
