I am sure you are absolutely right! She hasn't really got any position or role within news at the moment, so she should 'help out' on the news channel. Good to see Chris Eakin out and about in the daylight hours. Always been a fan of Eakin on loaction.

Chris Hollins is apparently first choice to replace Adrian Chiles on the One Show. Who do we think is likely to be Breakfast's new sports presenter?

George Allagiah is definitely not David Milliband....

Also, it would appear that George Alagiah has been promoted to foreign secretary, according to an aston at the beginning of the 6.

Interesting that had Joanna Gosling started at 5pm this evening, as opposed to 7pm. Julian Worricker making a rare Monday evening appearance on the news channel.

Yes I must agree I do like Chris on location, he seems to bring his own style to it. He was very good during the floods I remember. Kate seemed to slip back into News Channel mode fairly well to be fair but perhaps if there had been someone else in the studio she may have been better.

Actually, she was getting annoyed each time she read from the wires wrongly, and there were several occurrences. Tutting here, and tutting there.
