Interesting combination on the 11 to 2 shift today Workaholicocks and Hill. They seem to be ok, and bouncing stories between them well.

Nice discussion about people staying awake for the Sopel Crewe and Natwich by-election results programme due at 0050 on Friday. Jane saying that you can't stay up two nights in a row for fooball and politics and unsurprisingly Workaholicocks denying this and suggesting coffee and coke should do the trick.

Aah, so at least we now know how he manages to present for hours and hours on end on various different channels!

He'll probably be back with Joanna tonight as well!

Yes, and going on his track record, he might even pop up on BBC World in between!

I hope that's coffee and coca cola he's referring to Shocked

Did I see Adam from Newsround on BBC NC about 30 min ago from Westminster reporting?

Also, who finds it much easier to watch Dani Sinha on South Today than Sally Taylor?

He's been on before. A few months back.

I can't be arsed looking for the correct thread, so I'll stick this here, as it's the closest!

Is Louise Minchin another contact lens wearer suffering from conjuctivitus, as she's been wearing glasses this weekend?

She definitely wears contact lenses as I remember the page long discussion we had last year when she was spotted wearing glasses on air.

He's very good isn't he, Nicholas Owen?

I find the Six is far more watchable with Nicholas Owen that it is with George.

I also noticed the headline sequence seemed more fast paced and less rambly than it normally is as well.

Have you ever watched TV before? Her voice is extremely annoying and grates on my ears. She will never be Sally Taylor!

She may not be the best but I find Sally Taylor so much worse, maybe just my opinion.

Also, I much prefer Nick Owen on the Six, is there any reason why George cannot do both this week or Nick do both because it seems a waste to use two presenters.

I agree about Nicholas Owen, I don't watch the BBC news as often as I do Channel 4 and ITV, but I like him a lot better than George Alagiah (maybe because he is ex-ITN!).
