Can someone with a January 2nd - January 8th edition of the Radio Times post the BBC News presenters who are listed in there. (I wonder when Zeinab Badawi will make an appearance)

BREAKFAST
Saturday and Sunday: Susanna Reid and Charlie Stayt
Monday - Thurday: Jon Kay and Sian Williams
Friday: Kate Silverton and Charlie Stayt

EVENING
Saturday 2255: Simon McCoy
Sunday 2230: Emily Maitlis
Monday 2200: Fiona Bruce
Tuesday and Wednesday 2200: Sophie Raworth
Thursday and Friday 2200: Fiona Bruce

Not really looking forward to Jon Kay or Kate Silverton! Oh and by the way Jon Kay occasionally stands-in on Breakfast and BBC News Channel, he is also a News Correspondant.

Who is Jon Kay?

Reporter for the Channel usually covers the West of England area, has done several reports from Wooton Bassett covering the repatriation ceremonies and cortege journies through the town. Covered the Plymouth Nursery abuse case in detail too.

Wierdly on Monday they had Kate Silverton in just to do the 10 minute BBC1 lunchtime bulletin. Tim Willcox was on the News Channel and I'm surprised they didn't use him

Yes - I was surprised at that too - they used Jane Hill for lunchtime today - seems a bit pointless bringing in someone for 10 minutes!

I wish they would make more use of Lousie rather than Kate for breakfast.

Louise is more value on the NC, has the ability to get into breaking stories with speed and operates as a professional.

The Business news reporter just expressed his joy at having his own desk over the Christmas break, "let's hope this continues!" Razz

I agree, but since they bring Ellie Crisell in especially to do a 60 Second Summary it's not even the most wasteful example!

Yeah agreed, she's super talented. Anyone know why her stint on Breakfast was short lived?

She got pregnant and returned to BBC World, though during her maternity leave Susanna's Breakfast profile suggested she was only maternity cover so my guess is Mishal decided early morning shifts weren't the best.
