Do any BBC World viewers know where Mike Embley has disappeared to? It seems that many of the regulars have disappeared recently and have been replaced by reliefs, mainly Peter Dobbie, Alastair Yates, Geeta Guru-Murthy and Tim Willcox. I saw Nisha Pillai this afternoon for the first time in ages, but Mike seems to have completely disappeared. At one point, I didn't like him as a presenter because he was on so much (kind of like Willcox now) but since I haven't seen him in ages, I'd like to see him present again soon.

Lol, I'm surprised he can still see straight. Today, he's done the BBC World morning shift, the afternoon News 24 shift and now the late night News 24 shift. He must have been at TVC since at least 7.00am. I'm absolutely sick of seeing him no matter which channel I turn on...this is overkill!

Its weird seeing Mike Embley, he has sort of disappeared from the UK screens when Newsroom South East became BBC LDN

Yes, when that happened he moved to BBC World and has been there ever since. He used to be the Tim Willcox of BBC World but, as I said, I haven't seen him for ages. I'm hoping someone can shed some light...

Sounds like News 24 and BBC World should be rebranding as the Tim Willcox Channel and Tim Willcox World respectively, for correctness...

He must be seriously dosed up on coffee!!

Like they'd do that - needs to have 'BBC News' in the title somewhere Laughing

Don't forget he was on the evening shift the day before so I guess he came home at midnight if he even went home.
It is really strange to see an anchor working so much, I've never seen anything like this on any other news channel. Surprised Surprised Surprised

As for Mike Embley, I hope he never returns, he always annoyed me, especially the way he looks at the cammera. Mad
