A rather brilliant Simon McCoy-ism on the One O’Clock News today, dryly telling us linking into a report about TV production how he doesn’t know what he’ll do following the cancellation of Love Island.

Yeah, Simon does Monday and Tuesday, Jane does Thursday and Friday, and they alternate Wednesdays.
This has got to be the first time in years that you’ve got a same pattern in presenters on the One each week (Simon or Jane). It only took a global pandemic!

The whole schedule is a lot more consistent now which I like. Again, only took a global pandemic! Hopefully it will continue after this is over but I do doubt it.
