Because she simply isn't very good at TV news. Martine Croxall who has been taken off air so Tina can come on is so much better at handling this kind of thing.

Just like for the past few weekends where the BBC One presenter has done the press conference, evening and late whether it be Kate, Mishal, Clive or Reeta. It’s how the rota works at the moment. I don’t see the issue with her.

I'm guessing the first time she's been on BBC World News as well.
She said hello to world viewers at 4pm, and hasn't said good bye to them yet so I presume they are taking the BBC One bulletin as well.

Not sure whether this has been mentioned but Media Guido has just announced Carole Walker as a lead presenter for Times Radio.

She last presented 22 August 2019, thought it was earlier than that, so it seems she quietly left BBC.

I had a feeling she was presenting those shifts while freelance?

She left the BBC some time ago as a political correspondent, but continued to occasionally appear as a freelance presenter on the News Channel as well as pursue other opportunities.
Chuffed for her, because she was an underrated correspondent and is a great addition to their lineup.
