Reminds me of the amusing time Martine Croxall once done the Film Review on a Friday evening. Then the following Sunday she done a News Channel shift and was promoting what was coming up in the hour and all of a sudden she popped up wearing different clothes in a different studio to promote the Film Review (which was obviously recorded 2 days before).

I think Lukwesa has been known to introduce an episode of Inside Out East Midlands from the studio for the NC which she had recorded the links for somewhere in the region.

There must have also been occasions where Shaun Ley has introduced Dateline on a Sunday afternoon which he indeed recorded the previous day.

Is it time for the BBC to split the news operation into two sets of staff working separate days? With the virus easily able to spread before people become symptomatic there is a chance that everyone with overlapping shifts will catch it at about the same time which may well lead to all of the highest profile presenters and reporters catching it together and there being a period with next to no senior staff available (the up to 14 day period before symptoms appear makes it pointless to split just the high profile presenters if they then have the same editor (for example) on consecutive days).
Just today it is extremely likely that Sophie, Clive, Reeta and Simon have all come into contact with each other as well as whoever is presenting the ten which means that almost the entire BBC one team could have come into contact with the virus at the same time (especially as George is isolating and Fiona continues to focus on question time).

Sophie on 6 and 10 tonight. George is certainly off and I wonder if Huw is just off this week or has been sent home (considering he had a week off just 2 weeks ago).

Could be a sign of shifts to come over the next few weeks, I would expect 6 and 10 to be one shift indefinitely.
