Chris Buckler stepping down as North America correspondent to co-host new Radio Ulster breakfast show:

It’s not a new breakfast show - they’re replacing the existing presenters on the current breakfast programme.

Doesn't that make it 'new'? 🤔

Putting new seat covers on my old Ford Cortina doesn’t make the Cortina new........so to speak.

Well yes, fair point. Perhaps it's a case of Trigger's Broom?

Not really.

The format isn’t changing nor is the name of the programme.

It’s just getting two new presenters added to the team - two other presenters are leaving but some existing ones are being retained.

Rico Hizon is leaving BBC World News. After 17 years with the channel.

What's your source on this James? I can see BBC co-workers expressing shock on Twitter but no news source.

This article published just days ago suggests otherwise...

Could this be curtains on the Singapore Bureau as part of the news cuts?

I doubt it as they only opened it in 2015, on this site. Although I think it could be better used

Looking at Rico's Twitter, he has not tweeted since February 11th, 2-days before it was suggested he's leaving, and I have not seen him on air since then. Any news on where he's going?

World: Philippa Thomas is ending her one-year full time at the helm of Impact and will return to her previous role of Roving Anchor, Friday Impact presenter and Weekend News presenter (the latter being a role she does one weekend per month).

All of the above confirmed by Philippa herself on Social Media.

I guess that signals the return of Yalda Hakim to Impact.

It would seem the article was wrong:
